through the rich tradition of Colorado vocal arts
Celebrating and Supporting the Future of Opera
The Denver Lyric Opera Guild is dedicated to nurturing young opera singers and educating the community about this art form. Since our inception, we have supported and celebrated emerging talent while providing a deeper appreciation for opera through special programming, by providing grants to Colorado colleges, universities and young artist programs and our annual Competition for Colorado Singers. Our vision is to keep the spirit of opera vibrant and accessible for generations to come.

“One of the first competitions I participated in was Denver Lyric Opera Guild. Through the encouragement and feedback of the visiting judges and financial support of the Guild, I had the means to continue to pursue my “opera addiction.” As young artists, we encounter so many hardships, disappointments and setbacks. But because of DLOG, when these blows came down, I still had the means and encouragement to push through.”
